Ignacio García-Guzmán

Ignacio has over ten years of experience in the high-end residential real estate sector in Sotogrande (Cádiz) and its surroundings.

Born in Valencia, he attended boarding school in Vaud, Switzerland, and later graduated in Finance and Economics in London, UK.

He then returned to Spain to complete a Master’s Degree in Private Banking in Madrid.

Ignacio began his professional career in Private Banking, serving as Associate Director at UBS Bank, Madrid.

After several years in the financial industry, he decided to pursue his entrepreneurial path and founded IG Properties Sotogrande, working as an independent luxury residential broker.

A successful hotel sale in the Cádiz province sparked his interest in hospitality investments.

Since then, he has identified a growing demand for hotel assets in Spain, particularly in Andalusia—a region that has captivated him both personally and professionally.

With a deep understanding of excellence, confidentiality, and discretion, Ignacio builds long-term relationships based on trust and results.

His combined expertise in financial markets and real estate allows him to skillfully bridge the gap between buyers and sellers.

After more than a decade in the luxury property market, Ignacio recognized the need for a dedicated platform for hotel transactions.

This vision led to the creation of IGP Hotels—a bespoke platform that connects hotel owners and investors through personalized advice, expert guidance, and successful negotiations.
